Treatment cost guide · Lucknow

What dental treatment costs in Lucknow

Dental treatment costs depend on the problem being treated and the plan needed to address it. The same treatment name can cover different teeth, materials, laboratory work and follow-up care.

This guide explains the factors behind each treatment fee and what to check in a quotation. We do not publish fixed or starting rates: your estimate is prepared after assessment at Chetna Dental Centre in Aashiana, Lucknow.

Treatment needs vary between patients. Your written estimate sets out the agreed procedures, inclusions and separate charges before you decide. If new findings change the plan, the dentist discusses the options and revised estimate with you before continuing.

How to compare dental treatment estimates

Start with the diagnosis and the recommended procedures. Confirm which teeth or arches are included, the materials proposed and the alternatives discussed. Two estimates are only comparable when you know what each covers.

For an implant, check the fixture, abutment and final crown. For RCT, ask whether the final restoration is separate. For braces or aligners, confirm adjustment visits, refinements and retainers. The treatment guides above explain these differences in detail.

Plan for the complete course of care

Ask about examination and imaging, preparation, temporary work, the final restoration and maintenance. Discuss which steps are needed now, which can be staged and when payments are due. If you are considering another plan, bring the written estimate so the dentist can explain any difference in scope.

From examination to a written estimate

  1. The dentist examines your teeth and explains any imaging or records needed, including their charges.
  2. You discuss suitable options, materials and any additional treatment.
  3. You receive a written plan with inclusions, separate charges, the total fee and payment stages before agreeing to treatment.
Questions

Questions about dental fees

What determines dental treatment cost in Lucknow?

The treatment needed, the teeth involved, case complexity, materials and laboratory work all affect the fee. Examination and appropriate records establish the scope. At Chetna Dental Centre, you receive an individual written estimate explaining the planned treatment and any separate charges before deciding.

Why does Chetna Dental not publish fixed or starting prices?

A treatment name alone does not identify the work a patient needs. An advertised starting amount can describe a different scope from your own plan. We explain the fee factors and provide an estimate after assessment so you can make a decision based on the treatment recommended for you.

Is a cheaper dental treatment always worse?

No, but you have to compare like with like. A cheaper crown may be metal-ceramic rather than zirconia, which is a legitimate choice. A cheaper implant may be a different system with a different track record. Check whether imaging, crowns, review visits and adjustments are included or charged separately. A useful comparison is between written treatment plans that clearly state what each fee covers.

Do you offer EMI on dental treatment?

Yes. 0% EMI is available on treatment above ₹25,000 through partner credit cards. Orthodontic treatment is paid monthly across the treatment period as standard rather than as a lump sum, and larger cases such as full mouth rehabilitation are staged with payment linked to treatment phases.

Will the final bill match the quotation?

Your estimate covers the treatment plan agreed after assessment. If a new finding changes the recommended treatment, the dentist explains the options and any revised estimate before continuing. Ask which follow-up visits and additional procedures are included when reviewing your plan.

Does dental insurance cover treatment in India?

Most Indian health insurance policies exclude routine dental treatment and cover only dental work arising from an accident or requiring hospitalisation. Some corporate group policies and top-up plans include an OPD dental benefit. We provide itemised invoices and treatment records for any claim you wish to file.
